Vinyl Overall Cleaning

Over time, a resilient floor may lose its gloss and become dull.  Cleaning or stripping and repolishing may be necessary to restore its original appearance and improve cleanability.

• Periodically clean the floor with an approved resilient floor cleaner, such as FloorCare Essentials Hard Surface Cleaner.  Rinse well and buff clean.  Dry thoroughly and apply an approved floor polish.  Be sure to follow the manufacturer guidelines and product instructions.
• Occasionally, polish build up will need to be removed to restore the floor’s luster.  Strip the old polish from the floor using an approved polish remover.  Rinse well, buff clean and dry thoroughly. 
• Once a floor has been stripped, apply new polish according to manufacturer specifications and the product instructions.
• Do not use wax or buff your resilient floor
